Franklin Hospice is about community-based health care. It’s about enabling people faced with a life-limiting illness to stay in their own homes as long as possible – to live every moment. The support we receive from our local community makes it happen.

Franklin Family Support Trust exists so that
families and individuals in the wider Franklin area, who access our services, demonstrate increasing wellbeing.
We will know this because:
Families and individuals report improved health, social and educational outcomes.
Families and/or individuals affected by financial strain learn and apply skills and strategies to resolve the strain.
Families and/or individuals affected by (or at risk of being affected by) family violence or other safety issues are better able to resolve pressing issues and experience increased safety.
Caregivers navigate the transition to parenthood with confidence.
Young people navigate the transition to adulthood safely.

Raukura Hauora O Tainui is an iwi Charitable Trust founded in 1991 on the aspirations of King Tawhiao, the dream of Princess Te Puea Herangi and legacy of the late Dame Te Arikinui Te Atairangikaahu to reclaim the health and wellbeing of the Tainui people. Today, Raukura Hauora O Tainui continues to pursue this goal under the leadership of our King Te Arikinui Tuheitia Paki, delivering health services to Tamaki and Waikato regions.
