Orua Bay Beach Motor Camp and Accommodation is nestled in the tranquillity of the countryside on the northern shore of the Awhitu Peninsula. The Camp is situated on the shore and in the centre of a beautiful 3km sandy beach, north-facing (for all day sun). It is an idyllic history filled bay with a rural charm, away from the maddening crowds of suburbia. Situated 39km north of Waiuku on sealed roads. The drive to Orua Bay is through a changing rural landscape, from steep, deep valleys to gentle rolling hills. It is 1½ hours from Auckland City and approximately one hour from Auckland Airport. The Bay is ideal for swimming, water skiing, boating, fishing and for that bare foot lazy stroll. Golf, tennis and bowls - 10 minutes away. Tourist Flat Accommodation. Five immaculate self-contained Tourist Flats only metres from the waters edge.  All units are equipped with full kitchens and include oven, fridge/freezer, electric frypan, glassware, crockery & cutlery and TV.  Pillows and blankets provided, occupants provide own linen, pillow slips and towels, although linen is available for hire. Motor Camp - Adjacent to the Flats we have, situated in a quiet park-like setting, 12 powered sites for casual camping/caravanning.  Excellent camp kitchen, laundry, shower and toilet block.  We have disabled facilities. Other Information - Credit cards, EFTPOS, cash and cheques are accepted.
