Tuakau Saleyards Stampede
The 2010 Tuakau Saleyards Stampede, combines a street parade and market day as well as a great line up of talent to support the Tuakau Country and Variety Music Club whose 10th birthday coincides with the event.
Tuakau will be transformed into a western town with a street parade down George Street scheduled to start at 1pm and finishing at the Associated Auctioneers saleyards around 2pm.
Demonstrations by the NZ Cutting Horse Association and NZ Ranch Horse Association will be held. Dan Dusty will be offering wagon rides drawn by his team of Clydesdales and the 65th Regiment will be dressed in period costumes.
