2010 Fulton Swim School Primary Schools Triathlon
Organised by a committee, under the umbrella of the Franklin Primary Principals Association, the triathlon is open to all Franklin children of primary school age, providing an opportunity for local kids to get involved with one of New Zealand's most popular sports.
Held at Clarks Beach, children aged between 8 & 10 will complete a 100m swim, 4km bike ride and 1km run, while those aged between 11 & 12 will complete a 200m swim, 8km bike ride and 2km run.
Information and entry details are available at all local Primary Schools. A medal will be presented to each child who finishes the triathlon, and a goody bag for each child entrant.
